”In my paintings, I present images I saw on my travels, bur remove the people and leave only the places where they once lived. My creations reflect images of the density and fragility of most people’s lives in these cities. The final work almost becomes an abstract pattern making. I will continue to repeat those crumbling houses, arranged in patterns, stacked on top of each other, using colorful colors and changes in light and dark, turning the work into a visual tapestry.”
