NEW YORK, April 16, 2026 —Crossing Art Gallery is pleased to present Zero Gravity in the Land of Pareidolia, a solo exhibition by New York–based artist Olga Spiegel, on view from April 16 through May 9, 2026. An opening reception will be held on Thursday, April 16, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the gallery.
Born in France in 1943, Olga Spiegel has developed a distinctive artistic practice over more than five decades. Her work is informed by Magical Realism, meticulous technical precision, and an imaginative visual language that merges observation with invention. Through richly detailed compositions, Spiegel constructs dreamlike environments where biology, architecture, and the cosmos converge, inviting viewers into worlds shaped by transformation, memory, and the unknown.
The exhibition brings together a selection of paintings that reflect the breadth and continuity of Spiegel’s practice, revealing recurring themes of myth, nature, and perception. The title, Zero Gravity in the Land of Pareidolia, evokes a space where familiar forms emerge from ambiguity and imagination, encouraging viewers to discover unexpected connections between the visible and the unseen.
